Do you find it odd that people who study the current geopolitical scene reach conclusions comparable to what the Bible predicts about the “last days”?

For example, according to French journalist and geopolitical thinker Laurent Artur du Plessis, who has written a book entitled La Troisime Guerre mondiale a commenc

Noam Chomsky and Robert Fisk – War, Geopolitics, and History 1/7

Noam Chomsky, professor, linguistics, MIT Robert Fisk, correspondent, The Independent Journalist Robert Fisk of the UK-based publication, The Independent, recounts his experiences traveling around the world and living in the Middle East, Fisk speaks on history and geopolitics in the Middle East. His focus is on the problems with journalism in the United States, which include an over-reliance on what government authorities say and the common mode of reporting ‘from Baghdad’ but entirely within the confines of a hotel room. Using newspaper articles and speeches from politicians, Fisk illustrates the lack of concern for Iraqis as human beings. Fisk’s talk also looks at the Armenian genocide, which was downplayed in Western media. After the talk, Fisk fields questions ranging from the rumors of civil war in Iraq to the situation in Lebanon. The event was organized by the Armenian National Committee’s Eastern Region in conjunction with the Technology and Culture Forum at MIT and the Harvard Alliance for Justice in the Middle East. Additional sponsors included the MIT Thistle, the MIT Social Justice Cooperative, and the Nation Institute.

Amazon Exclusively Releases Peter Thomas Senese Inspirational Thrillers Chasing the Cyclone, Cloning Christ and The Den of the Assassin On E-book

Los Angeles, CA and New York, NY (PRWEB) December 23, 2011

Best-selling author Peter Thomas Senese is pleased to announce the E-book release of three of his highly acclaimed geopolitical thrillers exclusively on Amazon for the Christmas holiday season, including the theological thrill-ride Cloning Christ, the contemporary new-world-order power struggle The Den of the Assassin, and author’s highly praised, compassionate international legal thriller Chasing the Cyclone deeply inspired by the writer’s own experience chasing into the storms of having a child internationally abducted.

“The Den of the Assassin,” the spine-tingling Post 9-11 financial espionage and geopolitical thriller that catapults an unsuspecting young Wall Street banker, Tyler Boxter, into a world of incomprehensible possibilities and insane apocalyptic challenges was recently released on E-book (second edition) to the praise of readers. Renowned Amazon HALL OF FAME book critic Daniel Jolley said of “The Den of the Assassin,” This is one seriously good thriller. Billed as a novel of international finance and espionage, Den of the Assassin is a super-realistic exploration of frightening possibilities, unsurpassed heroism, Lucifer-like evil, and terrorism of the worst kind Peter Thomas Senese displays a wealth of knowledge of geopolitics, espionage, and international finance, describing all the technical intricacies of the storys elements and implications with great attention to detail -without ever letting the pace get bogged down or become confusing to the reader. He also keeps a number of secrets close to the vest, saving them for just the right time in the story. This serves to make the book thoroughly believable and increasingly suspenseful. Theres no shortage of action here . . . Many a writer of thrillers seem to drop the ball somewhere in the middle of their novels, but Peter Thomas Seneses knowledge of geopolitics, international finance, and 21st century terrorist threats keeps the fires of detailed complexity and story evolution stoked and red-hot for the entire ride. Tyler Boxter is no James Bond, but “The Den of the Assassin” proves to be just as exciting as any 007 caper and much more realistic.

Chasing The Cyclone, Peter Thomas Senese’s deeply personal novel of a father seeking to find and reunite with his internationally abducted child that was written after the author successfully chased into the storms of having a child internationally abducted has been hailed by numerous Amazon HALL OF FAME book critics as a legal thriller every loving parent should read and Peter Thomas Senese’s writing inspiring. Dr. Grady Harp, a highly respected Amazon HALL OF FAME book reviewer said, “Peter Thomas Senese now opens the windows on the magnitude of these tragedies in his excellent “Chasing The Cyclone”… As if the fast paced energy of this story weren’t enough to satisfy the reader, Peter Thomas Senese demonstrates his quality as a writer of distinction on many levels… this impossible to put down book…” Additionally, Amazon Top Book Reviewer Shelley Gammon added, “Chasing the Cyclone” is the second book I’ve read by Peter Thomas Senese, and like “The Den of the Assassin,” it’s a real page turner… This was a book I could not put down. Thomas has a gift in writing a compelling novel that not only keeps the reader engaged, but educates as well.”

Cloning Christ, a theological thriller about a genetic scientist who discovers what might be the True Cross of Jesus of Nazareth has gripped readers across the world. Amazon HALL OF FAME book critic Harriett Klausner commented, “Fans will relish this thriller. The tale is loaded with action yet uses the characters as symbols of mankind similar to a medieval passion play like Everyman. The cast represents the faithful, the disbelievers, the dividers (torn between science and religion) or the selfish. “Cloning Christ” brings the debate of religion vs. science to the forefront in an exciting manner that focuses on the sacredness of life.”
